What is this role about?

You will be on a mission to maintain, review and control the general ledger accounts and other financial statements of the Company, applying and complying with Estonian GAAP, relevant laws and regulations, tax administration in particular. Beside the bookkeeping responsibilities, you will also thoroughly review financial records, while assisting the Financial Controller.

In this role you will :

Maintain, review and control all general ledger accounts and and other financial statements including tax returns, tax balance and related on a timely basis;

Prepare financial statements for statutory purposes (external reporting)

Assist in the preparation of management accounts (internal reporting)

Assist in the preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts.

Assist in the budget/cash flow variance analysis

Assist in the preparation of various reports related to the business transactions

Regularly follow-up changes in legislation with particular attention to tax administration

Comply with processes and internal controls

Communicate with auditors, tax authorities, vendors’ administration;

Report to Financial Controller and CFO

We are looking for someone who has:

Good knowledge of English and Estonian languages

Excellent knowledge of general bookkeeping principles; Estonian GAAP, laws & regulations, tax administration in particular

Good knowledge of IFRS

Strong attention to details and good analytical skills

Advanced MS Excel skills and adaptability to working with advanced accounting softwares

BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

Additional certification is a plus

Ideal, but not a must:

Previous experience in fintech industry and start-ups in general

Experience with crypto accounting
