About Ape Unit

We are 30 explorers with diverse backgrounds in design, development and strategy. We work with partners in the public sector, private sector and NGOs. Our Units explore multiple areas from digital communication to decentralization, always with a focus on design and development.

One of our Units operates as a decentralization specialist. The diverse team is distributed across countries with a base in Berlin. It applies emerging technologies to advance the public good. It’s about making complex systems easy to use.

For this we are looking for a back-end typescript developer in full-time (32-40h/week).

Your type

You work independently, are proactive, organized and empathic

You are enthusiastic about digital topics, design and new technologies

You think in a structured way and have an eye for the big picture

You are pragmatic and prefer to do rather than just plan

Your skills

You know JS in your sleep

You have knowledge of typescript and neo4j

You are fluent with a no-sql db

You have experience with Gitlab

You speak fluent English
