We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer for an international company - a cloud-based freight and transportation management solution designed to help shipping, third-party logistics, and carrier businesses streamline the entire supply chain lifecycle.

Requirements:

 

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Python and knowledge of Python 3.11
• Knowledge of fastAPI
• Experience with SaaS
• Experience with building microservices using containers
• Experience with database modeling (ORM or raw)
• Strong CS fundamentals, deep experience in a modern backend (Django, Rails, Spring)
• An understanding of application performance (Big-O and profiling) and data structures
• Experience with AWS or GCP
• Strong command of English and good communication skills

Nice to have: 

• Experience in the logistics industry
• Experience with enterprise integrations
• NoSQL Experience (Mongo, Redis)
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins or Terraform
• Familiarity with EKS
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Datadog and OpenTelemetry

 Responsibilities:

• Building microservices
• Building REST APIs
• Solving global supply chain management issues
• Refactoring technical debt into organized, efficient services
• Working closely with the product to refine ideas and turn designs into reality
• Fixing the code and updating existing applications
• Writing unit tests
