Front End Developer (React.js)

THE JOB

As a Front End Developer, you will work through a project lifecycle to design, develop, test, implement and support our websites and web applications. This includes fostering and supporting our agile development culture while being responsible for:  

You will build applications on a strong web architecture while analyzing and solving software engineering problems

You will be actively participating in discussions with product owners, tests, and software engineers to suggest new or improve on existing solutions

You are a highly driven and self-motivated individual with a strong sense of personal responsibility

You are familiar with modern development best practices and are able to learn complex technologies quickly

You’re product-focused and understand the balance between speed of delivery and quality

You enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and are adaptable to new business demands

You have strong English skills

A degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent is beneficial

REQUIREMENTS

Extensive knowledge of fundamental front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)

Experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, preferably React.JS

Experience with code versioning using Git/Github

Not required but nice to have:

Experience with Node.js and the associated ecosystem, such as NPM, Gulp, Webpack, and Babel is a plus

Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud platforms

Experience working with GraphQL

Experience working with Material-UI or other design systems
