We’re a lean team of innovators passionate about building tools that connect people with the content, places, and products they value. We’re now looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to help take Stacklist to the next level.

Frontend: React, Next.js with TypeScript and Tailwind for styling

Backend: Google Cloud Functions, NodeJS, Typescript, Redis, Elasticsearch

Image service: Uploadcare

Payment: Stripe and RevenueCat

Email service: Postmark

Hosting: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Ecosystem: Browser extensions, iOS and Android app

What We’re Looking For:

We're seeking a backend-focused Full Stack Developer to build scalable cloud services and real-time features. You'll own projects end-to-end, from architecture to deployment, with a focus on crafting robust APIs and integrations. If you write clean code, take initiative, and can collaborate effectively across the stack, we'd love to talk.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using Google Cloud Functions.

Design and implement scalable, low-latency APIs to power the Stacklist platform and its ecosystem of apps.

Build and optimize real-time collaborative features, activity streams, and notification systems.

Create API connectors for seamless integration with third-party services.

Independently take ownership of projects and initiatives, seeing them through to delivery with top-notch code quality.

Proactively communicate updates, challenges, and solutions with team members.

Monitor and improve backend performance, reliability, and scalability.

Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and roadmap planning.

Your Experience & Skills:

7+ years of experience as a software developer, with a focus on backend development.

You're well-versed in the JavaScript world (Node.js, React, TypeScript)

Strong understanding of serverless architecture and experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You have a knack for building fast, scalable APIs that can handle serious workloads

You've worked with real-time features (think WebSockets or server-sent events)

You've built things like collaboration tools, activity feeds, or notification systems

You know your way around integrating third-party APIs and building reliable connections between systems
