Senior AQA Engineer

You Perfectly Match If you have:

• 4+ years of commercial experience in AQA within an agile environment
• Full understanding of QA activities within Software Development Life Cycle (Smoke, Regression, etc.)
• Experience in API testing (main focus), WEB testing and testing data pipelines
• Experience running performance and load tests
• Experienced with pytest testing tool & Python programming language
• Good understanding of OOP principles
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Ability to understand and create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases from requirements or verbal communications
• Experienced with Atlassian Suite (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
• Experienced in GIT source control, Linux Command Line, Virtualization Tools
• Preferably hands-on experience with Selenium and working knowledge of WEB debugging and inspection tools (Firebug, Fiddler, Charles, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Track record of working in Scrum / Agile software teams
• At least Intermediate spoken and written English
• Experience in the healthcare domain is preferred

Your day-to-day activities:

• Design and execute performance/load testing of web-services (REST), web-based applications, and ETL data pipeline
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage
• Prepare test reports
• Work with the developers to resolve issues
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
• Help with issue classification and triage – isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
• Day-to-day communication with the customer
• Identify positive and negative use cases etc.
• Plan, design, and create automated API and UI tests 
• Backend database testing including validating stored procs and jobs and triggers
