Senior Software Project Delivery Manager

We're seeking a truly awesome Senior Software Project Delivery Manager just like you to help us define and deliver superb software solutions for our clients as we help them to grow their businesses.

This position is offered on a full remote working basis and requires an immediate start.

We currently have a large scale software project waiting for you to hit the ground running with. It's both a challenging and exciting piece of work with an estimated delivery time of 7 months. If you are up for the challenge, you will start on this immediately.

If you need to work a notice period on your current contract, don't worry - as we will facilitate you with a part-time working option so you can get started right away and join us full-time when you are ready.

Salary scale: €2,200-€3,200 p/m (commensurate with experience)

Software Project Manager

This exciting Senior Software Project Delivery Manager role requires the successful candidate to have a high level of experience in successful software project management and delivery. You will have very strong written and conversational English, and an excellent track record in complex problem solving. You are someone who understands how to manage the delivery of complex software projects and how to lead a diverse team of developers.

You will have strong R&D capabilities. You will be highly experienced in software specification identification and requirements gathering (discovery) with clients to understand exactly the problems they need to solve. You will have a strong technical knowledge of web-based applications.

Excellent commercial awareness is essential as is the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Does this sound like a good career more for you?

Primary Responsibilities

Writing software specification

Daily management of software/web projects and the team

Managing project timelines, expectations and budgets

Carrying out business requirements analysis with clients to identify customer needs

Researching and identifying the best software solutions to client problems

Determining ways to minimise costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction

Essential Criteria

Strong experience in agile methodologies and tools (eg Kanban/Scrum in Jira)

Excellent resource planning skills

Strong customer service, project management and quality control skills

Strong ability to deal directly with senior stakeholders

Excellent leadership and customer service skills

Strong teamwork skills and excellent attention to detail

Strong Contract/SLA management skills

BSc in Computing or related discipline

Excellent written and conversational English
