- Virtual / Administrative Assistance
As the client business is expanding, we're looking for a professional, friendly & adaptable Executive Assistant to help out with various tasks relating to their business.
Primarily, you would help with podcast outreach, triage inboxes & keep the client free from minor & ad hoc tasks as much as possible.
As Executive Assistant, you will:
Take care of the guest podcast outreach -- your responsibilities would be to:
Look for podcasts to reach out to or respond to, based on an email newsletter I already get plus the PodcastHawk software
Present me a list of podcasts each week to begin reaching out to, with suggested topics I could talk about on the show
Do the outreach & book in and give them the info they need and include the details for me in a calendar item on my calendar
Share the episode on my Social Media accounts when the podcast is live
Assist me with producing my own podcast
Help polish the transcript for my podcast
Edit the podcast recordings with Descript/Audacity & publish/share per instructions that will be provided
Polish presentations in Google Slides & make them similar to the template (bonus for improving the template or suggesting better software e.g. beautiful.ai)
Triage three email accounts (low volume)
Post on Social Media including creating simple graphics in Canva
Conduct ad hoc research projects, both business and personal
Complete simple admin and/or data entry tasks
Do minor bookkeeping & spreadsheet tasks for clients once per month
Assist with some personal tasks (online, maybe some calls)
Although I count on your experience & expertise, you will receive training from me whilst bringing your own skills & making your own suggestions for improvement. If there are some brand-new tasks, there might be opportunities for paid external training/courses.
As ideal candidate, you should have:
experience as an Executive Assistant, a Virtual Assistant or a Personal Assistant
experience with Slack & Trello or a similar platform
eagerness to learn & pick up new tasks well
Brownie points for:
bookkeeping experience and/or experience with Xero
graphic design or video/audio editing experience
experience with updating WordPress and performing minor edits to WordPress websites
Descript experience or similar video editing & transcription software

What’s in it for you?
Hourly rate of $6 to $10*
10 hours per week
Flexible hours & location, with a minimum 1 to 2-hour overlap with 8-12 pm GMT & 8 am-6 pm GMT in the period between April & July 2022 when I have a big UK/Europe trip planned
