My name is Idris Bamidele, and my journey in robotics began during my time as a student at Lagos State Model College, Meiran. I was selected to represent my school at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) National Competition, where I emerged as a winner. This achievement led me to represent Nigeria at the 2018 WRO International Finals in Thailand, an experience that ignited my passion for coding and robotics.
Today, I leverage my knowledge and experience to train and mentor young learners in the technology and engineering principles behind robotics systems. My hands-on approach introduces students to key Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) concepts, enabling them to design, build, and program their own robots using platforms such as LEGO robotics systems, mBots, and Arduino-based robotics.
Through these programs, I aim to enhance their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing them to tackle the challenges and embrace the opportunities of the 21st-century workforce.
